As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to negatively impact lives, your support enables us to positively impact the lives of local under-served children. The map below illustrates how we continue to increase book ownership, as we have distributed 112,000 free quality books in the past three weeks!
The blue pins on the map indicate where we have scheduled distributions moving forward. In order to safely and efficiently continue operations, we’ve adjusted production and distribution methods. Team members diligently practice social distancing while processing books in-house and our fleet team is equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE) when they are out distributing books to our partners. Additionally, we have increased our cleaning schedule to include enhanced sanitizing practices throughout our facility
Despite these challenges, with generous support from donors like you we can continue our mission to increase book ownership for under-served children at a time when they are most in need of developing reading skills, an escape or inspiration.
We are grateful to partner with school administrators and program leaders who ensure our books get into the hands of their students.
