Zacatacos* of Chicago is one of many taco joints throughout the city, but for the drive team they are a cut above the rest. Maybe it’s because they only use USDA choice inner skirt for their famous steak tacos, or maybe it’s their unbeatable El Pastor tacos served with pineapple. Either way, Zacatacos is a Bernie’s Book Bank favorite. The name, derived from Zacatecas, simply means “Take Out Tacos.” But whether you take them to go or eat them in house they are simply delicious. With five locations to choose from they serve the Chicagoland area with some of the best tacos the city has to offer. As for this deputy of distribution, I can’t choose between the amazing pastor, steak, and chicken, so when I partake, I order all three. So, when you’re jones’n for a taco, as we all do, come find us at Zacatacos in Chicago, hopefully we’ll see you there.
