Can you imagine being a child during this uncertain time who cannot attend school and has no books at home to read? As a father, and husband to a teacher, it is difficult to fathom. Nevertheless, I know this is the reality for so many children in our community.
Bernie’s Book Bank wants to change this story. We are committed to providing free quality books to under-served children throughout Chicagoland. As an essential service to the community, we’re still hard at work distributing books to the children who need us most.
However, to keep our mission in motion we need your support.
The “Change Their Story” campaign helps to keep our trucks on the road and our team distributing books. I’m asking you to donate $12 to provide 12 quality books for an under-served child.
As Founder Brian Floriani shared in his video message above, $12 is equal to one trip to Starbucks. Sounds reasonable, doesn’t it?
